Kerenor, Camera Repair, Jerusalem
Kerenor was founded in Jerusalem in 1983 by Eitan Fried.
During his IDF service in the Israeli Air Force, Eitan specialized in the field of electro-optics in drones and airborne photography equipment of all kinds.
Following his release from the IDF, Eitan relocated to Johannesburg, South Africa, where he specialized at the Minolta Center in Africa. During those two years he interfaced with other international photography companies such as ROLLEI, CANON, PENTAX, OLYMPUS, and HASSELBLATT.
Since 1983, Kerenor, camera repair lab, evolved and the camera repair lab gives solutions to professional photographers as well as amateur photographers and photography enthusiasts.
During the last 30 years, Kerenor camera repair lab employs skilled technicians who attend courses in order to update themselves and stay familiar with all the latest technology, particularly regarding the transformation from film equipment to digital.
Today Kerenor does not only give updated technical solutions to camera problems including video equipment and large format cameras , but also upgrades equipment, updates software, sells new second-hand equipment, and deals with the maintenance of cameras, lenses, flashes and the newest digital equipment on the market today.
Kerenor services equipment made by Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Sony, Panasonic, and more, as well as adjusting lenses and optical equipment for these brands.
Included among Kerenor’s customers are: The Israel Police Force, The Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Hadassah Hospital, The Israel Museum, photography schools such as Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Hadassah Photography College, Musrara Photography School, camera stores, professional photographers, news photographers and international news teams.
